In recent times, our school crest was redesigned and we are delighted with the results. Our crest contains symbols representing the traditions and values we hold dear within our school – a book representing our dedication to education, the mill from which our village gets its name, a football to symbolise our involvement in sport, an oak leaf and acorn linked to our county’s name and a St. Brigid’s Cross connecting all of these sections, paying homage to our school’s name, Scoil Bhríde. The colours red and green feature prominently and have been synonymous with Milltown for many a day.
